The surgical team at Dogwood has literally just saved my dog's life, my beautiful and sweet 4.5 yo Great Dane suffered a colonic torsion and while the medical team wanted to be conservative to save me money they ultimately decided that surgery was necessary and the surgical team was fantastic. Everyone here was amazing, they saved my dog's life even though she had an 80% chance of dying and they were so thorough and organized with updates and photos. They really understand trying to balance what's best for your pet and what is best for your wallet and I definitely got my money's worth since no surgery is going to be cheap and they were still cheaper than other hospitals in my area. I'm so thankful we came here, they run this animal hospital like a real hospital (I would know, I work as an inpatient RN) and I'm very impressed with their skill, compassion and open communication between the staff and "parents", I will absolutely recommend Dogwood to any pet owner with a medical emergency or specialty issue.
